Alex became a valued member of the Hede Byrne & Hall team in 2018, bringing with him over 13 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury cases.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as a barrister in a private practice specializing in areas such as Personal Injury, Worker’s Compensation, Commercial Law, Employment Law and Family Law from 2011 to 2018.
An outstanding example of Alex’s work is the case of Dr Mohamed Haneef, whose wrongful arrest and detention resulted in a formal apology from the Australian Federal Police, an inquiry by the Hon John Clark QC, and significant compensation for suffering including damage to his medical career and reputation.
Additionally, Alex served as a Lecturer in Law at the University of the Sunshine Coast for four years, further demonstrating his commitment to education and community involvement.
