Community Impact
Hede Byrne & Hall are proud to have an ongoing association with Cancer Council Queensland, and actively participate in events such as the Biggest Morning Tea, Daffodil Day, and The Longest Day of Golf to help raise funds towards a cancer free future for all Australians.
The firm’s Wills & Estates lawyers are also proud participants of the
Cancer Council Queensland’s Free Will Service for South East Queensland.
As engaged members of the community the firm enjoys actively sponsoring the Coolaroo Football Club and the Toowoomba Golf Club. As a member of the Red Cross Lifeblood Teams program the firm has recently began participating in the inaugural Legal Services Blood Challenge.
Giving back to the community is important to the firm which regularly participates in the Adopt-A-Family Appeal. It also supports several community organisations through voluntary work and/or pro bono legal assistance such as the Toowoomba Advocacy Support Centre (TASC), St Vincent de Paul Society and Red Rose Foundation Ltd.
Mental health and well-being initiatives it has been involved in include R U OK, It’s A Bloke Thing, Queensland Mental Health Week and the Queensland Government’s 10,000 Steps. It is also a member of the Tristan Jepson Memorial Foundation which particularly focuses on supporting a safe and healthy legal workplace.
Hede Byrne & Hall is also a regular supporter of local small businesses and events via its social media giveaways.
