Waanda has been a key member of our firm since May 2015 during which time she has represented and assisted clients in their negotiations and disputes concerning gas, mining, renewable energy, native title and other interests in land and its resources. Waanda has experience in litigation and dispute resolution and represents clients in proceedings in various courts and tribunals in Queensland.

Waanda gained a strong foundation in the law graduating from James Cook University and being awarded a university medal. Waanda’s last experience includes Associate at the High Court of Australia and practising in the Major Projects litigation practice area of a national law firm in Melbourne.

Waanda has a thorough understanding of our clients’ needs in energy, resources, environment, planning, water and natural resources through her experience in providing legal advice and representation to landholders in their negotiations, disputes, and litigation concerning gas, mining and compulsory acquisition matters.

Waanda brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. She is a passionate advocate for her clients, providing them with exceptional legal representation and advice. Waanda is known for her familiarity with agricultural operations, legal skills, attention to detail and analytical thinking, which helps her achieve successful outcomes for her clients.
