Where will I see Rachael in the community?

You may encounter Rachael actively engaging in community involvement through her role as a scout leader with her local Scout Den. She also assists with the reading program at her local State Primary School.  Rachael’s interest in volunteering started when she lived in China.  With the Hands-On Shanghai project, Rachael served as the Project Coordinator for the Shanghai Children’s Medical Centre initiative. In this role, Rachael played a pivotal role in designing and implementing educational programs for in-ward patients of a children’s hospital.

Beyond her volunteer work, Rachael cherishes moments spent with her family, particularly her two young boys. She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and gardening. While Rachael formerly participated in triathlons, long-distance running, cycling, and open ocean swimming, she modestly acknowledges that those days are now “well behind” her.  She has, however, just re-commissioned her road bike, so wave if you see her out on the road.
