Vince joined the firm as a law clerk In March 2007 whilst completing the final year of his Law Degree.
Vince was born and raised in Toowoomba attending Downlands College for his secondary schooling. He has completed degrees in Law and Science (Human Movements major) from QUT/UQ, and he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 8 September 2008. He was welcomed as a director of the firm in 2014.
Vince has experience in various areas of the Law, focussing on Family Law, and on Personal Injuries Law (acting for both Plaintiffs and Defendants), since his admission as a Solicitor. Vince’s practice has moved towards being primarily based in Family Law, and he is the head of the Family Law team of the firm.
Vince’s considered, sensible and empathetic approach has assisted clients in achieving positive outcomes in all areas of Family Law, whilst reducing the stress and emotions experienced by his clients in this difficult and taxing area of the Law. Vince is experienced in Parenting, Financial/Property, Domestic Violence and Child Support matters, and he is skilled in managing the various needs of his clients, as well as the complexities of the legal issues which arise.
Vince is involved with numerous community organisations. He is the Honorary Solicitor for the Downlands Past Students association, as well as volunteering with organisations such as The Advocacy and Support Centre (TASC) in their Family Law Clinic, the USQ Student Mentoring Program and with St Vincent de Paul.
Outside of the office, Vince has a keen interest in sports, participating over the years in rugby, cricket, tennis, golf, basketball, touch football and various other sports in the local area. Vince is a previous committee member of the Toowoomba Rangers Rugby Club, and he has enjoyed supporting the Rangers Club since his underwhelming career was tragically cut short by injuries.
