Cassandra Nicholson 1

Cassandra has worked as a valued member of the Property and Commercial team since 2020. Prior to joining Hede Byrne and Hall, Cassandra gained a wealth of experience in the field of contractual law, having spent 11 years contributing to the Contractual and Intellectual Property Law requirements of the University of Southern Queensland.

How did Cassandra gain her knowledge and experience?

After being awarded a Bachelor of Laws from USQ in 2018, Cassie went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Bond University in 2021. Coupled with her studies, her employment in the tertiary education sector saw her hone her skills in intellectual property, contract drafting and negotiation, client relationship management, business development, and strategic planning. In 2019, Cassandra was awarded an Excellence Award for Service to Research for outstanding commitment to her work. Prior to practicing law, Cassandra worked in high level support roles and therefore has a keen eye for detail and is an excellent communicator.

Out of the office

Cassie is either beach camping or looking after her menagerie of animals (lizard, dog, bees, chickens, fish!). She is also a keen baker and a plant lover.
